Catch Up, Catch Up

So much for my vow to blog and blog away. Although I do enjoy it, my mind has been full these past few months and I don't even know where to start! The problem with the Internet is that well, it's world-wide and our plans are just sort of "plans" for now and not quite ready for world wide release. Until stuff comes to fruition it's hard to keep anything straight or stay focused. And now that I have time on my hands without doing BEW I seem to have no focus. Those who know me well know I function at my worst when I don't have a plan. Here I sit, stuck in that "waiting place" from the kids favorite book right now, Oh The Places You Will Go.

So anyway, kids are happy and do ask just a few questions, to which we do our best to answer. While we are hanging out in the "waiting place" we have packed up and moved out of Maricopa. We are staying at my sister's house in Gilbert, our stuff is neatly sorted in rubbermaids and boxes and sitting in her garage. I had this plan of keeping Taylor at Santa Cruz, but the commute is killing me. He seems very tired in the morning, but by the time I pick him up in the afternoon he seems to have enjoyed his day and not at all affected by his early mornings. For my sake, we are looking at enrolling him in an online program just for this second half of the school year. I am kicking myself in the butt that we didn't get the ball rolling on this earlier so his last days would have been with winter break, but he seems to be okay with the idea and that is a blessing at least. Jazz is cuter than ever, serious this kid should be a model. She has the looks and some major attitude. She is the very definition of a two year old. I have these fleeting moments where I think I could make it work to keep Taylor in school, but with traffic, usually a pee stop for the kids and maybe a stop for gas, me and the little Princess are in the car nearly 4 hours a day! I feel hardly accomplished at the end of the day and that feeling is pretty sucky. So, on my agenda I am trying to get this school thing figured out for Taylor (after two faxes and an email can they please accept his paperwork?), preschool figured out for Jasmine (does she really still need services after March?), and I promised I would find a new karate class for Taylor. Seems easy enough, right?
