So here I find myself, yet again, behind on blogging. We haven't exactly been sitting around and twiddling our thumbs...so I will get better about this.
To further thwart my good intentions, we bought a new computer (which is super cool!) but I can't get to all the pics saved on the laptop. The laptop has been acting wonky for a while, when it finally started acting up for Brooks all of a sudden it was a problem. We went to Best Buy to replace the laptop and ended up coming home with an Ipad. Love it, love it, love it! By the next day I was ready to marry the Ipad. But, since Brooks really is pretty amazing I'll stick with him.
Just a few weeks later the laptop was still up to it's old ways. The laptop was one of those $399 models so since I knew we had gotten by with the cheap model before, I was being stingy about replacing it with something other than another cheap model. Eventually one morning the laptop cord started sparking. The cord itself was about $100through Toshiba, and being the cheap skate that I am (about certain things), I couldn't justify paying that. So off we went, this time to Fry's and ended up coming home again without a laptop, but this time with a super cool all in one touchscreen desktop. I'd like to marry it, but since polygamy is not my style and Brooks is still pretty amazing, we'll keep things as they are. I did manage to find a cord on Amazon that is supposed to work with the laptop and that should arrive in another week or so. Undoubtedly another trip to the electronics store will be in our future to replace the laptop but as long as we can get the sucker plugged in long enough to retrieve our files, I can get back to posting pictures of the worlds cutest kids and their daddy.
